Job summary

18 Week Support is looking for an Outpatient Urology nurse for weekend sessions in the Midlands. This role presents the opportunity to work within a busy Urology clinic, assisting experienced consultants and providing patient-centered care.

You will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, monitoring them, and ensuring the clinic’s efficiency. Ideal candidates will have recent NHS experience and strong clinical skills, with flexible work options available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a surgical/clinical setting within the last year.
• Proven experience working within the NHS.
• Experience in outpatient, surgical, or urology settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for outpatient urological procedures.
• Assist urologists during cystoscopy and minor urological procedures.
• Monitor patients during and after procedures.
• Coordinate patient flow within the clinic.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
