Job summary

18 Week Support is seeking an Outpatient Healthcare Assistant for weekend sessions within NHS trusts in the West Midlands and Hampshire. The role focuses on supporting outpatient clinics, patient care, and accurate data recording in a busy urology outpatient setting.

Ideal candidates will have outpatient HCA experience, NHS exposure, and excellent communication. Flexibility to work weekends and support a patient-centered environment is required.

Qualifications

• Currently practising as an outpatient HCA with at least 6 months within the last year.
• Experience working in the NHS is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and smooth running of outpatient clinics and treatment areas.
• Take observations and record patient data accurately.
• Assist with stock control and housekeeping duties.
• Provide compassionate, non-judgemental care in a clinical environment.
