Job summary

18 Week Support is seeking experienced Ward Nurses for weekend sessions across various NHS Trusts in England. This role provides an excellent opportunity to deliver high standards of care within a specialist General Surgery and Urology ward environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a surgical or inpatient ward setting.
• Proven NHS experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of nursing care to patients in a General Surgery and Urology Surgery ward.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor and record patient observations, escalating concerns appropriately.

Skills

Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration

Experience within surgical or inpatient ward settings

Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary ward team
