Job summary

Co-op Group in the Cambridge area is seeking Customer Team Members for a part-time role (15 hours per week) with regular overtime. You’ll work Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm to 10pm, with full, paid training provided to get you up to speed.

You’ll join a friendly team delivering essential services in-store, including post office, bakery, or online order pick/pack duties. You’ll help keep shelves stocked and promote Co-op membership while building strong community links.

Qualifications

• Clear passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and busy store environments (experience not required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service on the shop floor.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Operate tills and assist with daily shop floor tasks.
• Maintain shelves, check prices and stock accuracy.
• Keep the store safe and compliant with prices and temperatures.
• Promote Co‑op Membership and support the local community.
