Job summary

East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a part-time weekend cleaner for Kingsmill Ambulance Station. The role covers 10 hours across Saturdays and Sundays, with a focus on maintaining a set cleaning schedule and raising cleanliness standards across sites.

The post requires previous cleaning experience, good reliability, and the ability to work with limited supervision. Training and development opportunities are available within the Trust.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience as a domestic cleaner.
• Good attendance record over the last 12 months.
• Understanding of health and safety, COSHH and risk assessments as they relate to cleaning.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to undertake training and development.

Responsibilities

• Keep Kingsmill Ambulance Station clean to a set schedule.
• Help improve cleanliness standards and the assurance of cleanliness across sites.
• Support the cleaning services team.
• Cover other stations and fixed sites when service needs require, including overtime.
• Carry out physically demanding work including reaching, crouching, moving between rooms and moving items.
