East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a weekend domestic cleaner for Goodwood Ambulance Station. The role involves cleaning to a set schedule at the station and helping raise cleaning standards across the site.

The post-holder will work 8 hours per week, two 4-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, with occasional cover at other stations. Experience in domestic cleaning is essential, and the work is physically demanding.

Formación

• Previous work experience as a domestic cleaner.
• Understanding of health and safety, COSHH and risk assessments as they relate to cleaning.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Good interpersonal skills, polite and courteous.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and comply with standard operating procedures and policies.
• Good attendance record over the previous 12 months.
• Physically fit and able.
• Smart and clean appearance.
• Reliable, punctual, conscientious and methodical.
• Shows initiative and works without supervision.
• Flexible, willing to cover duties for colleagues.
• Nice to have: Experience of working without supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Clean Goodwood Ambulance Station to a set schedule.
• Help improve cleanliness standards and assure cleanliness across sites.
• Cover other stations and fixed sites when service needs require, within hours or for overtime.
• Carry out physically demanding work, including reaching, crouching, moving between rooms and moving items.
