Job summary

East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a weekend domestic cleaner at Hucknall Ambulance Station. The role is 8 hours per week, split between Saturday and Sunday, with possible cover at other stations as needed.

You will keep the station clean, support the cleaning services team, and work with the schedule while performing physically demanding tasks. Experience in domestic cleaning and a good health-and-safety mindset (COSHH, risk assessments) are required.

Qualifications

• Previous domestic cleaning experience is required.
• Understanding of health and safety relating to cleaning (COSHH and risk assessments).
• Able to follow written or verbal instructions and SOPs.
• Physically able to perform demanding cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Keep Hucknall Ambulance Station clean to a set schedule.
• Help improve cleanliness standards and assure cleanliness across sites.
• Support the cleaning services team.
• Cover other stations and fixed sites when service requires, within existing hours or overtime.
• Carry out physically demanding tasks, including reaching, crouching and moving items between rooms.
