Job summary

South Hampstead High School is seeking a Weekend Duty Manager to oversee the safe, secure and efficient operation of our Senior School site at weekends, coordinating lettings, events, reception and on-site staff. This role involves maintaining high standards in a busy environment and acting as the main point of contact for external hirers.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, premises management, site operations or a similar operational role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• First Aid at Work qualification desirable, or willingness to obtain.
• NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent health and safety qualifications; Fire Warden certification advantageous.
• Experience in an educational or campus environment would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekend lettings and events to ensure smooth operation.
• Be the main point of contact for external hirers and coordinate reception and staff.
• Ensure the site is safe, secure and welcoming at weekends.
• Coordinate maintenance, monitor health and safety, and respond to issues as they arise.
