Job summary

B&Q Limited in Bamber Bridge is hiring a Shift Lead for weekend coverage. The role is part-time (18.75 hours per week) with a permanent contract and a full-time equivalent salary of £27,709.50 per annum. This position is on-site and involves handling early start times and late finishes to cover customer needs.

You will lead a store shift, deploy colleagues, ensure safety and drive a positive customer experience, while supporting the team and store operations.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate a passion for helping customers and doing the right thing for them.
• Ability to oversee a team and coordinate tasks across a shift.
• Safety conscious with attention to compliance and store procedures.

Responsibilities

• Be the heartbeat of the store day-to-day and ensure operations are running smoothly.
• Make sure colleagues are deployed correctly to ‘make every customer count’ throughout your shift.
• Be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues.
• Make sure our stores are safe at all times.
