Job Description:

Weekend Production Supervisor

Location: Plymouth

Salary: £44,000- £52,000 + 12% Bonus + Benefits + 44% Shift Premium

Shift Pattern: Friday to Monday, rotating day/night shifts (32 hours/week)

As a Manufacturing Shift Leader, you'll be responsible for leading a team of 45-50 Associates to consistently deliver exceptional performance in safety, quality, and productivity. You'll coach, support, and inspire your team, while playing a vital role in continuous improvement and operational success at our Plymouth site.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in managing or supervising teams, ideally in an operational or production setting.
  • A confident communicator who can work with people across all levels and backgrounds.
  • A problem-solver who takes initiative and is comfortable making decisions in the moment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement or OPEX practices.

What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Lead your team through daily operations to deliver on safety, quality, and food safety KPIs.
  • Manage work allocation, shift planning, attendance, and performance in a fair and supportive way.
  • Build a strong team culture through coaching, feedback, and personal development planning.
  • Drive operational improvements and support projects focused on efficiency and team capability.
