Job summary

Stafforce Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Operator for a precision engineering client based in York, offering weekend night shifts Friday to Sunday. You will operate and monitor CNC machines, set up tooling, and work from engineering drawings to meet production targets.

This permanent, full-time role pays £20.78–£21.62 per hour plus a £100 weekend shift premium, for 34.5 hours per week, with a pension scheme, enhanced holiday and sickness benefits, structured training, free onsite

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and team-oriented.
• Multi-axis, milling or aerospace experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNC machines to support production requirements.
• Set up tooling, fixtures and materials as needed.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Complete quality checks and maintain production standards.
• Follow health and safety and housekeeping procedures.
