Job summary

Castle Employment Group is recruiting an experienced CNC Operator for a respected UK manufacturer near Kirkbymoorside. You will begin on days for six months before moving to a permanent Monday-Thursday night shift, with 40 hours per week and a clear progression to nights.

The role includes setting and operating high-speed CNC machinery, reading drawings, and making basic CNC edits. Competitive pay starts at £17.92 per hour, rising to £18.65, plus a £50 night shift allowance, with an estimated

Qualifications

• You must already have previous CNC machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating high-speed CNC machinery.
• Reading and interpreting engineering and mechanical drawings.
• Completing basic edits to CNC programmes and tool tables.
• Preparing and loading raw materials and components.
• Checking, controlling and replacing tooling and cutters.
• Carrying out quality checks and maintaining accurate production records.
