Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Lifeguard to help provide friendly, safe and clean facilities across our centres in the UK. You will be part of a welcoming team, with training and an enhanced DBS check, helping customers of all ages enjoy a healthy environment.

You will work Saturdays on a rota basis and must be a competent swimmer. We offer a generous benefits package and opportunities for career development within our charitable leisure trust.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent required.
• Competent swimmer; swim test will be completed as part of the interview process.
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and to all levels of staff.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented approach; able to work across organisation boundaries.

Responsibilities

• In the role of Lifeguard, you will ensure the best levels of service for our customers through offering a friendly, clean and safe facilities.
• Work Saturdays on a rota basis and uphold safety standards for pool users.
