Job summary

Davies is seeking an experienced part-time Customer Service Advisor to join our Property team in Preston on a weekends FTC. You will handle inbound calls from home emergency insurance customers, support claims through to resolution, and work to targets in a friendly call centre.

No industry experience required; full training provided. 16 hours per week on Saturdays and Sundays, with shifts 09:00-17:30 or 10:00-18:30; FTC 3 months.

Qualifications

• Experience in First Notification of Loss (FNOL) for an insurer or claims handler is advantageous.
• Previous contact centre experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to think on your feet.
• Attention to detail in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls from home emergency insurance customers.
• Work to targets and KPI’s in a friendly call centre environment.
• Support the customer through the journey of their claim from initial notification to resolution.
• Validate the policyholder, diagnose the issue and deploy the appropriate trade contractor, keeping the customer informed throughout.
• Take excess policy payments, arrange boiler services and negotiate with contractors.
