Job summary

Davies is recruiting a part-time Customer Service Advisor for the evenings to join our Preston team. You will handle FNOL-related calls, support claims through to resolution, and coordinate contractors while meeting KPI targets in a busy claims environment.

This 3-month fixed-term contract starts 12 October 2026, with 25 hours weekly, 18:00–23:00, based at our Fulwood office in Preston. Training provided to successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in first notification of loss (FNOL) for an insurer is advantageous.
• Previous contact centre experience is an asset but not essential.
• Excellent telephone manner with strong customer service skills.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls from home emergency insurance customers.
• Work to targets and KPIs in a call centre environment.
• Support customers through the claim journey from notification to resolution.
• Validate policyholder, diagnose issues and arrange appropriate trade contractors.
• Take excess policy payments, arrange boiler services and negotiate with contractors.
• Opportunity to multi-skill across multiple insurance product lines.
