Job summary

Davies Group is recruiting a part-time Customer Service Advisor to join the Property team in Preston on a weekend FTC. You will handle inbound calls from home emergency insurance customers and guide them through the claim journey with support and empathy.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work to targets in a busy call-centre environment across Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications

First Notification of Loss (FNOL) experience is an advantage.
Contact centre experience is useful but not essential.
Excellent telephone manner with strong customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail in all tasks.
Self-motivated and engaged, with a confident customer approach.
Ability to use soft skills (empathy, tact, diplomacy) with upset customers.

Responsibilities

Respond to inbound calls from home emergency insurance customers.
Work to targets and KPIs in a friendly call centre environment.
Assist customers through the claim journey from notification to resolution.
Validate policyholders, diagnose issues, and deploy the appropriate contractor.
Take excess payments, arrange boiler services, and negotiate with contractors.
