Job summary

Davies are recruiting an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join the Property team in Preston for a 3-month fixed term contract with 37.5 hours per week, 15:00–23:00 shifts.

This evenings role offers full training, a supportive call-centre environment, and the chance to progress across insurance product lines while assisting customers through FNOL and claim resolution from start to finish.

Qualifications

• FNOL experience for an insurer or claims handler is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills and telephone manner.
• Attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Empathy, tact and diplomacy when dealing with distraught customers.
• PC literacy and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls from home emergency insurance customers
• Work to targets and KPIs in a call centre environment
• Support the customer through the journey of their claim from notification to resolution
• Validate the policyholder, diagnose the issue and deploy the appropriate trade contractor, keeping the customer informed
• Take excess policy payments, arrange boiler services and negotiate with contractors
• Opportunity to multi skill across many insurance product lines
