Job summary

Cygnet Acer Clinic in England is seeking a confident Housekeeper with a passion for making a difference. You will work full time (40 hours per week) to provide a safe, clean environment for people in our care at a 28-bed facility.

Your day-to-day includes cleaning, stock replenishment, and adhering to COSHH and health and safety procedures, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and a positive, supportive atmosphere for residents and staff alike. An enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

Experience in housekeeping or domestic work is desirable.
Knowledge of COSHH is desirable.
Friendly, conscientious with a positive attitude.
Good communicator.

Responsibilities

Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service
Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes
Replenish stock & ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained
Employ safe working practices and adhere to health & safety procedures
Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations

You'll be working Full time (40 hrs per week) at Cygnet Acer Clinic, helping provide a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.

Cygnet Acer Clinic is a 28 bed service providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for women with personality disorder and complex needs or acute mental health needs.

Care is provided in a therapeutic environment, with a level of security matched to individual needs. The aim of the treatment, rehabilitation and re-socialisation programme is to prepare the people in our care either for transfer to conditions of lesser security, or for a life in the community.
