Job summary

Cygnet Group’s Cygnet Hospital Bury Dunes is hiring an outstanding Housekeeper who is passionate about making a difference. You’ll work 32 hours per week (8:00–16:30, Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) to help maintain a safe and healthy environment for people in our care.

Your day-to-day includes cleaning, replenishing stock, following COSHH and safety procedures, and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness across wards and communal areas. An enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or domestic work (desirable).
• Knowledge of COSHH (desirable).
• Friendly, conscientious and has a positive attitude.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service.
• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness.
• Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes.
• Replenish stock and ensure equipment is clean and well maintained.
• Employ safe working practices and adhere to health and safety procedures.
• Comply with COSHH regulations.

You'll be working32 hours per week (8am to 4:30pm Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday) at Cygnet Hospital Bury Dunes, helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.

Cygnet Bury Dunes providesa wide range of inpatientmental health services for men and women including specialist deaf services andemergency admission services.

Each service user has a bedroom with en suite facilities and a range of communal spaces including a gym, laundry, occupational therapy kitchen, therapy garden and woodland walkways down to the Elton Reservoir.

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service
• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
• Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes
• Replenish stock & ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained
• Employ safe working practices and adhere to health & safety procedures
• Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations
