Job summary

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse to provide compassionate hospice care on Saturdays and Sundays, 8am–8pm. You will visit patients where they reside, complete admissions, and support families with symptom management and ongoing care.

The role requires an active RN license, strong clinical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team. A commitment to quality hospice services is essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in good standing with one year of experience.
• Admissions and on-call experience preferred.
• Team-based collaboration with nurses, social workers, and chaplains.
• Able to communicate clearly with patients and families; driven to hospice care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for hospice patients and visit patients at homes, facilities, or hospitals.
• Complete admissions and perform patient visits as needed; manage symptom control.
• Communicate with families, respond to urgent needs, and maintain documentation.
