Job summary

Sainsbury's Home Delivery Driver role requires weekend availability and a full UK driving licence. You'll drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps, ensuring on-time, safe delivery and great service.

You'll handle in-store tasks when not delivering, learn about products and promotions, and use digital tools as needed. A positive, flexible attitude and ability to work in a busy environment are essential.

Qualifications

• You must be over 18 and hold a full UK/EU driving licence with at least 12 months’ experience and no more than 6 points.
• You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of the interview process.
• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps, on-time and in good condition.
• Check van is organised, clean, roadworthy and secure before setting out.
• Serve customers, answer questions, handle substitutions and inform about delays.
• Build knowledge of products and promotions to provide recommendations.
• Assist across the store when not delivering.
