Job summary

Sainsbury's is hiring Home Delivery Drivers to bring groceries to customers' doorsteps across the Weston area. You’ll drive a 3.5 tonne van, deliver on time, and keep goods in great condition while offering friendly, helpful service.

You'll check the vehicle before each shift, assist customers with substitutions, and learn about our offers to provide confident recommendations. When not delivering, you may help in-store duties and stock tasks, joining a fast-paced team dedicated to quality and

Qualifications

• You must be 18+ and hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.
• Right to Work in the UK is required.
• Ability to learn new systems and adapt to a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers’ doors, on time and in good condition.
• Carry out checks to ensure the van is clean, organised and roadworthy, and deliveries are secure.
• Assist customers with questions and substitutions and communicate delays as needed.
• Build knowledge of products and promotions to offer helpful recommendations.
• When not delivering, assist across the store as required.
