Job summary

Sainsbury's is looking for a Home Delivery Driver to join our team in the United Kingdom. You will drive a 3.5 tonne van, deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps on time and in good condition, and perform basic vehicle checks.

When not out on deliveries, you’ll help in-store and use digital tools to support substitutions and answer questions. We value friendly, safety‑conscious colleagues who can work flexibly in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.
• Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
• Able to learn new digital tools and use technology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries door-to-door in a timely, safe manner using a 3.5 tonne van.
• Carry out vehicle checks, keep delivery cases secure and drive in varied locations.
• Assist customers with questions and substitutions and provide timely updates on delays.
• Support store colleagues as needed.
