Job summary

Sainsbury’s is seeking a Home Delivery Driver to join our team in the United Kingdom. You’ll deliver groceries in a 3.5 tonne van to customers’ doors on time and in good condition, while ensuring road safety and vehicle checks.

You'll support customers with questions, substitutions and delays, and also assist in-store when needed. We value flexibility, a positive attitude and the ability to learn new digital tools while handling up to 15kg containers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers' doors on time and in good condition.
• Perform checks to keep the van tidy, roadworthy and secure before and after journeys.
• Assist customers with questions, substitutions and delays, and inform of any changes.
• Build knowledge of products, services and promotions to make recommendations.
• Help across the store when not delivering.
