Job summary

Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd is seeking a Home Delivery Driver for the Tewkesbury Road Store, Cheltenham. You will drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries, complete safety and vehicle checks, and assist customers in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires weekend availability, 18+ with a valid UK driving licence and right to work in the UK. The position is permanent and offers company benefits including discounts and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• You must be over 18 and hold a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points
• Must have some weekend availability
• Right to Work eligibility in the UK

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps on time and in good condition
• Perform checks to keep the van clean, organised, and roadworthy, and secure delivery cases
• Assist customers with questions and substitutions and communicate any delays
• Build knowledge of products, services and promotions to provide recommendations
• When not delivering, assist across the store as needed
