Job summary

Aligra Personnel Ltd in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for day or night shifts across Hertfordshire. The role offers a supportive team, stable shifts and clear career progression.

You will drive to drive-thrus and shopping centres with PAYE rates: Day £24.43/hr, Night £26.38/hr, plus a weekend bonus per day worked. Training is paid, and flexible patterns are available.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence for at least 2 years' and 180 days experience.
• No DR or IN codes accepted and a maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Comfortable with manual handling using a pump/sat truck.
• Available to work at least one weekend day per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver essential goods across drive-thrus and shopping centres in Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
• Work day or night shifts with a flexible 5 out of 7 pattern.

What we offer:

• PAY RATES PAYE - HGV1 24.43PH Day and 26.38PH night
• HGV2 also available - 22.47PH day and 24.43PH night
• Paid one-week training at £16.97 per hour
• Weekend bonus paid of £61.15 per Saturday or Sunday worked
• Typical shifts of 9-10 hours, with flexible patterns - work any 5 out of 7 days, including one weekend day or alternatively Weekend only work also available
• Permanent contracts with excellent career progression
