Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E Drivers in England. This role requires drivers to operate boxed and curtain-sided vehicles with shifts starting between 22:00 and 02:00 on Fridays or Sundays. The ideal candidate will hold the relevant driving licence for at least 12 months, have no major convictions, and possess a valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card. Competitive hourly rates are offered, including holiday pay options.

Qualifications

Overview

HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E Drivers required to work either a Friday evening or a Sunday evening (option of both hours permitting).

Responsibilities

• Starting any time between 22:00 and 02:00 on a Friday evening or a Sunday evening (option of both hours permitting).
• Drive boxed and curtain-sided vehicles.
• Deliver fresh produce to small RDCs, wholesalers or our client's depots nationwide.
• Complete 1 to 5 drops per shift.
• Load handling: loads are on pallets or crates with wheels; move to the rear of the vehicle with a manual or electric pump truck and have loads unloaded by an FLT driver.

Qualifications

• Hold your HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E licence for at least 12 months.
• Have driven an HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E for at least 6 months within the past 12 months.
• No major driving convictions on your licence.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
