Job summary

Hillier Garden Centre at Horsham is seeking a friendly Garden Centre Assistant (Food & Beverage) to join our team at weekends. You will work in our Restaurant, serving food and drinks and creating a welcoming experience for customers.

This permanent weekend role offers 7.5 hours weekly, with additional hours during peak periods. The hourly rate is up to £12.71, with pay set to National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage requirements.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or customer service experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Weekend availability is required and shifts include Saturdays and/or Sundays.
• UK-based with right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and drinks.
• Make hot beverages, including coffee.
• Handle customer queries and payments.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and presentation.
• Clear and clean customer areas.

Hillier Garden Centre at Horshamis looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Garden Centre Assistant (Food & Beverage) to join our team at weekends.

Working within our Restaurant, you'll help create a welcoming experience for customers by serving food and drinks, preparing hot beverages and maintaining high standards of customer service.

This is a permanent weekend role with guaranteed 7.5 hours per week. We are looking for candidates who are available to work weekends and can offer additional availability during peak trading periods and seasonal events when extra hours are available.

Hourly rate of pay up to £12.71 per hour. Actual pay will be determined in line with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving food and drinks.
• Making hot beverages, including coffee.
• Handling customer queries and payments.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and presentation.
• Clearing and cleaning customer areas.
• Replenishing stock and displays.
• Supporting seasonal promotions and events.
