Job summary

Hillier Nurseries Limited is seeking a friendly Garden Centre Assistant (Food & Beverage) for weekend shifts at our Andover site. You will work in the restaurant, serving food and drinks, making hot beverages and delivering high standards of customer service.

The role is permanent on weekends with 8 hours per week, with additional hours during peak trading. £12.71/hour, paid in line with UK wage rules. Training provided and staff benefits apply.

Hillier Garden Centre atWeyhill is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Garden Centre Assistant (Food & Beverage) to join our team at weekends.

Working within our restaurant, you'll help create a welcoming experience for customers by serving food and drinks, preparing hot beverages and maintaining high standards of customer service.

This is a permanent weekend role with guaranteed 8hours per week. We are looking for candidates who are available to work weekends and can offer additional availability during peak trading periods and seasonal events when extra hours are available.

Hourly rate of pay up to £12.71 per hour. Actual pay will be determined in line with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving food and drinks.
• Making hot beverages, including coffee.
• Handling customer queries and payments.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and presentation.
• Clearing and cleaning customer areas.
• Replenishing stock and displays.
• Supporting seasonal promotions and events.

• Previous hospitality, catering, retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
