Job summary

Hillier Garden Centre at Three Legged Cross in Wimborne, Dorset, is hiring a friendly Garden Centre Assistant (Food & Beverage) for weekend shifts. You will work in the Restaurant, serving food and drinks, making beverages, and helping maintain service standards.

The position is permanent with at least 4.5 hours weekly and extra hours during peak periods. The hourly rate is up to £12.71, with pay aligned to UK minimum wage rules. Training is provided and great staff benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service is desirable but training will be provided.
• Weekend availability is required and there is guaranteed 4.5 hours per week with potential extra hours during peak periods.

Hillier Garden Centre atThree Legged Crossis looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Garden Centre Assistant (Food & Beverage) to join our team at weekends.

Working within our Restaurant, you'll help create a welcoming experience for customers by serving food and drinks, preparing hot beverages and maintaining high standards of customer service.

This is a permanent weekend role with guaranteed 4.5hours per week. We are looking for candidates who are available to work weekends and can offer additional availability during peak trading periods and seasonal events when extra hours are available.

Hourly rate of pay up to £12.71 per hour. Actual pay will be determined in line with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving food and drinks.
• Making hot beverages, including coffee.
• Handling customer queries and payments.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and presentation.
• Clearing and cleaning customer areas.
• Replenishing stock and displays.
• Supporting seasonal promotions and events.
