Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management, overseeing Holiday Inn Express Manchester Airport, is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Team Member to join our hotel dining team. You will welcome guests, take orders, and ensure high standards of service and presentation in a fast-paced environment.

Experience is beneficial but not essential; we value a proactive, team-oriented approach and clear communication. This role offers on-site work with flexible shifts and opportunities for growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional approach with a passion for guest experiences
• Prior food and beverage service is a plus, but willingness to learn welcomed
• Clear communication with guests and colleagues
• Keen eye for detail in order accuracy and presentation
• Team-focused and ready to jump in to keep service flowing
• Flexibility and energy for fast-paced shifts; must be able to work 2x5hr shifts over weekends: Fri/Sat/Sun

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and attentive service from start to finish
• Take and process food and drink orders, note special requests
• Serve food and drinks with high presentation and timely service
• Set up, clean and reset tables and service areas
• Prepare and serve beverages, including basic barista tasks
• Maintain stock by assisting with inventory and restocking
• Uphold hygiene and health and safety standards
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams for seamless operation

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD & BEVERAGE TEAM MEMBER AT OUR HOTEL

What you'll be doing...

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and attentive service, making their experience enjoyable from start to finish.
• Take and process food and drink orders accurately, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled.
• Serve food and drinks with care, keeping presentation standards high and timing smooth.
• Set up, clean, and reset tables and service areas, maintaining an inviting and well-organised dining space.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including basic barista duties and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks.
• Keep the dining area stocked by assisting with inventory and restocking supplies.
• Uphold hygiene and health and safety standards, ensuring a spotless and compliant workspace.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a seamless service, supporting each other for a smooth operation.

What We Need From You

• A friendly, professional approach with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
• Prior food and beverage service experience is a plus, but we welcome a willingness to learn.
• Clear communication skills to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
• A keen eye for detail, especially in order accuracy and food presentation.
