Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management's Municipal Hotel is seeking a Food & Beverage Team Member to join our Palm Court and Seaforth Restaurant teams. You will welcome guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and maintain high presentation standards in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.

Experience in food and beverage is a plus; we value a friendly, professional approach, clear communication, teamwork, and flexibility to cover shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional approach and a passion for positive guest experiences.
• Prior food & beverage service experience is a bonus, but willingness to learn is welcomed.
• Clear communication with guests and colleagues is essential.
• Keen eye for detail in order accuracy and presentation.
• Team-focused and able to jump in to keep service flowing.
• Flexibility and energy to thrive in a fast-paced setting, including peak times.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and deliver attentive service at Palm Court or Seaforth Restaurant.
• Take and process food and drink orders accurately, including special requests.
• Serve food and beverages with high presentation standards and timely service.
• Set up, clean and reset tables and service areas to maintain an inviting dining space.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including basic barista duties and non-alcoholic options.
• Assist with inventory and restocking to keep dining areas well supplied.
• Adhere to hygiene and health and safety standards in a busy environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth operations.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD & BEVERAGE TEAM MEMBER AT OUR HOTEL

What you'll be doing...

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and attentive service, making their experience enjoyable from start to finish within our Palm Court area or Seaforth Restaurant over lunch or evening service (flexibility with shift times, days, evenings and weekend work is required).
• Take and process food and drink orders accurately, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled.
• Serve food and drinks with care, keeping presentation standards high and timing smooth.
• Set up, clean, and reset tables and service areas, maintaining an inviting and well-organised dining space.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including basic barista duties and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks.
• Keep the dining area stocked by assisting with inventory and restocking supplies.
• Uphold hygiene and health and safety standards, ensuring a spotless and compliant workspace.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a seamless service, supporting each other for a smooth operation.
