Job summary

NT Engineering & Manufacturing in Lanarkshire is seeking an Engineering Team Leader for a high-speed drinks production line. You will lead from the front on weekend shifts, develop your team and ensure lines run reliably while meeting safety and quality standards.

You will drive preventative maintenance, manage contractors, oversee CMMS (IFS or SAP), and push continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and downtime, partnering with bottling teams to boost line performance.

Qualifications

• Maintenance or engineering background in manufacturing
• Experience leading technical teams
• Strong fault finding and problem solving skills
• Good understanding of planned and preventative maintenance
• Experience with CMMS such as IFS, SAP or similar
• Continuous improvement mindset with a strong safety focus
• Good communication and ability to juggle priorities

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift activity to get the best out of your team and resources
• Ensure maintenance is completed safely and in line with requirements
• Manage contractors in line with site procedures
• Own planned and corrective maintenance schedules for production lines and site services
• Drive equipment reliability and continuous improvement projects
• Work closely with Bottling Team Leaders and operations to support line performance
• Review maintenance activity in the CMMS to cut out non-value-adding tasks
• Spot skills gaps and support technician training and development
• Support new product introductions, trials, capital projects and line improvements
• Produce technical reports and improvement plans based on operational data
