Gloucester Charities Trust is recruiting a Weekend Care & Support Assistant for Guild House, a CQC-regulated residential home for older people. The role offers 24 hours on alternate weekends, with shifts of 2 long days and potential extra hours. The pay starts at £14.80 per hour and increases to £15.10 after medication training.

You will provide compassionate personal care, support daily living, and promote dignity and independence. We value reliability, flexibility and good communication.

Qualifications

• Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents.
• Assist with daily living activities, including dressing, bathing and meals.
• Support independence and well-being in a person-centred environment.
• Maintain records in line with CQC and organisational requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents.
• Assist with daily living activities, including dressing, bathing, mobility and mealtimes.
• Encourage residents’ independence, choice and participation in activities.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate records in line with CQC and organisational requirements.
• Support residents living with dementia and other age-related conditions.
• Promote safeguarding, health and safety and infection prevention measures.
