Gloucester Charities Trust is recruiting two Care & Support Assistants for Guild House in Gloucester. Each 30‑hour post covers days, with a base rate of £13.80 per hour, rising to £14.10 after medication training, plus £1.00 per hour at weekends.

You’ll provide personal care, assist with daily living activities and support residents to live with dignity, independence, and wellbeing in a warm, person‑centred environment.

Qualifications

• Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents.
• Assist with daily living activities (dressing, bathing, mobility, meals).
• Encourage independence and participation in activities.
• Maintain accurate records in line with CQC and organisational requirements.
• Support residents living with dementia and other age-related conditions.
• Promote safeguarding, health & safety and infection prevention measures.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents.
• Assist with daily living activities (dressing, bathing, mobility and mealtimes).
• Encourage residents’ independence, choice and participation in activities.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate records in line with CQC and organisational requirements.
• Support residents living with dementia and other age-related conditions.
• Promote safeguarding, health & safety and infection prevention measures.
