Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Swansea is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic for our franchised workshop. Representing major global marques, we offer a top‑tier, high‑tech environment with strong manufacturer backing and strictly no weekend shifts.

You will perform routine servicing, engine work, and complex repairs, use manufacturer diagnostic tools, complete digital job cards and health checks, and maintain rigorous safety standards to achieve first‑time fixes.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time‑served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Strong background in modern vehicle repair and diagnostics.
• F‑Gas certification preferred (or interest in obtaining it).

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, complex mechanical repairs, engine work, and chassis maintenance to strict standards.
• Use advanced manufacturer diagnostic tools to identify and resolve faults.
• Complete digital job cards and video health checks (VHC) to provide updates to the service team and customers.
• Maintain high safety standards and deliver first-time fix results.
