Job summary

Compass Group UK&I's 14forty team in Rugby is seeking a passionate Sous Chef for Monday to Friday shifts. You’ll support the Chef Manager with flair, lead by example, and help deliver menus that are tasty, balanced and visually appealing.

In a busy, vibrant kitchen, you’ll craft breakfasts, support events, and mentor junior chefs while upholding rigorous food safety and quality standards. Weekdays-only pattern and competitive hourly pay reflect your skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in quality-focused kitchens.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage rosters, prep lists and stock.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef Manager in delivering flavourful, consistent dishes across service formats.
• Help shape menus that celebrate quality ingredients and balanced nutrition.
