Job summary

The Commercial Hotel is seeking a skilled hospitality leader to manage our wedding and events operations. You will report to the Senior Management Team within the venue and work with the Wedding and Events Sales team to deliver our packages in an operational capacity.

You will guide shift teams to uphold world-class service standards, plan staffing, coordinate pre-event briefs, and drive training while maintaining Health & Safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills to motivate and manage your team (Essential).
• Confidence in liaising with other heads of departments to deliver what the client requires (Essential).
• Great Communication skills to motivate and manage your Team (Essential).
• Excellent Organisational and Administrative Skills (Essential).
• Ability to be flexible and respond to last minute requests, changes and problems that occur (Essential).
• Direct experience working in an operational capacity to deliver wedding and events packages (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Leading your team on shift to achieve high standards of service during our Functions and Events
• Scheduling your team to ensure you have the correct capacity to deliver our Weddings and Events effectively
• Liaising with the Wedding and Events Team to ensure an effective plan is in place prior to Functions to ensure operational success
• Shared responsibility for Training and Development of the Front of House Team
• Complying with Health & Safety Standards
