Job summary

Unum UK is seeking a Web Optimisation Specialist to own day-to-day performance, optimisation and continuous improvement of unum.co.uk. This hands-on role sits in Marketing and touches on website management, SEO, UX and CRO to drive measurable results.

You will maintain content accuracy, shape site structure and journeys, partner with internal teams and agencies, and ensure accessibility standards while delivering improvements that support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and updating website content within a content management system.
• Strong understanding of website optimisation principles, including SEO, CRO and UX best practice.
• Experience implementing SEO recommendations and improving website performance.
• Attention to detail and accuracy across web content and digital journeys.
• Confidence analysing website data and performance metrics to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update website content, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand and marketing objectives.
• Evolve unum.co.uk site structure, navigation and user journeys.
• Collaborate with digital agency and internal stakeholders on enhancements.
• Monitor performance, analyse user behaviour and identify engagement opportunities.
• Implement SEO best practices and technical recommendations.
• Deliver CRO initiatives including page improvements and journey enhancements.
• Support backlog management and sprint planning for website developments.
• Ensure WCAG AA accessibility standards.
• Act as a main contact for website updates and issue troubleshooting.
• Stay current with digital marketing and UX trends.
