Job summary

Chip is seeking a Head of Web to own the website as a growth channel — from strategy through to conversion, analytics and CRM integration. You will lead a small team, drive SEO and GEO initiatives and partner with paid growth and Brand to maintain premium messaging.

You will shape the CRO program, ensure fast performance and accessibility, and collaborate with Compliance to align promotions with regulations. Fintech/wealth experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading web, SEO or growth for a consumer digital business.
• Experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong SEO knowledge, technical and content.
• Hands-on CRO: designing, running and analysing experiments.
• Growth marketing instincts with funnels, attribution, CAC and LTV.
• Experience connecting web to CRM, ideally Braze.
• Comfort with data in GA4, BigQuery, Looker; SQL is a bonus.
• Experience with fintech/wealth or financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define website strategy and roadmap, owning targets for organic traffic, sign-ups and CAC.
• Lead and develop a two-person team, setting clear priorities and growth goals.
• Lead SEO and GEO to improve ranking and AI-mention visibility.
• Run a continuous conversion programme across landing pages and sign-up journeys with a test backlog.
• Maintain site speed, accessibility and technical health, plus analytics tagging.
• Build web-powered CRM flows from the site into Braze for end-to-end user journeys.
• Collaborate with paid growth and Brand to keep pages premium and on message.
• Work with Compliance to ensure promotions meet regulatory requirements.

As Head of Web, you’ll own the website as a growth channel: how it’s found, how it converts, and how it hands people into the app and our CRM.

• Setting the website strategy and roadmap, and owning the targets behind it: organic traffic, sign-ups and cost per acquired member
• Leading and developing a team of two, setting clear priorities and helping them grow their craft
• Leading SEO and GEO, so Chip ranks in Google and is cited accurately in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude
• Running a continuous conversion programme across landing pages, product pages and sign-up journeys, with a clear test backlog and honest readouts
• Keeping the site fast, accessible and technically sound, from Core Web Vitals and structured data to analytics and tagging
• Building web-powered CRM: data capture, identity and event flows from the site into Braze, so the path from first visit to first deposit is joined up
• Partnering with paid growth on landing pages and attribution, and with Brand to keep every page premium and on message
• Working with Compliance so financial promotions on the site are approved quickly, and shaping a process that keeps pace with a high testing cadence
• Using AI tooling to ship more pages, more tests and better content with a lean team

• A track record leading web, SEO or growth for a consumer digital business, with results you can point to
• Experience managing and developing people, or a strong appetite to step up into it
• Strong SEO knowledge, technical and content, plus a considered point of view on GEO and where search is heading
• Hands-on CRO experience: designing, running and analysing experiments at pace
• Growth marketing instincts, with fluency in funnels, attribution, CAC and LTV
• Experience connecting web to CRM, ideally with Braze or a similar platform
• Comfort with data in GA4, BigQuery, Looker or similar (SQL is a bonus)
• The ability to make a clear case and bring Product, Engineering and Compliance with you

• Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Start your weekend early!)
• £65,000 per annum
