Job summary

Barclays Capital is seeking a Product Owner to maximise product value by defining a clear vision and managing the backlog. You will work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure customer needs are met and value is delivered through continuous backlog refinement and metrics-driven improvement.

The role requires agile experience, strong communication, and the ability to translate business goals into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Product ownership experience or equivalent
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum practices
• Ability to write clear, testable acceptance criteria
• Experience coordinating with stakeholders and delivery teams

Responsibilities

• Define and refine the product backlog and priorities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align product vision with business goals
• Write clear, concise user stories with acceptance criteria
• Engage in Agile events (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retros)
• Act as Voice of the Customer to ensure value delivery
• Monitor product performance using KPIs and feedback
• Balance desirability, viability and feasibility in decision making
• Drive roadmap and execution for the product area
