Job summary

System C in the United Kingdom is seeking a Product Owner to shape and deliver market-leading health technology solutions. You will own the product backlog and work with Product Management, Engineering, UI/UX, and customers to ensure the right problems are solved in the right way.

The role requires strong backlog management, ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaboration across teams in agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Experience as Product Owner or in a similar product delivery role.
• Strong backlog management and prioritisation skills.
• The ability to write clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.
• Experience using lifecycle management tools such as Jira, Aha!, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Confidence working in complex and fast-changing environments.
• A collaborative approach and a commitment to doing the right thing.

Responsibilities

• Managing and prioritising the product backlog.
• Translating requirements into high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Working with stakeholders to understand customer needs and business priorities.
• Supporting release planning and defining key product features.
• Collaborating with Engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Participating in agile ceremonies and setting sprint goals.
• Monitoring delivery against agreed release plans.
• Supporting customer engagement activities, demonstrations, and show-and-tell sessions.
• Identifying and communicating risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
• Contributing to go-to-market and product launch activities.
• Developing deep product and domain expertise.
