Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Product Owner Support to help bring digital products and client journeys to life across Wealth Management. You’ll collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to translate priorities into clear actions, support delivery planning, and drive progress from concept to implementation, delivering value for clients and colleagues.

You will apply data-informed decision making, governance, and KPI-driven delivery to align teams on priorities, risks and the roadmap,

Qualifications

• Experience in product ownership, business analysis using data science and AI, digital delivery, agile delivery or transformation-related roles.
• Supporting digital product development through backlog refinement, requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria and delivery planning.
• Working within cross-functional environments and collaborating with colleagues across business, technology and other supporting functions.
• Coordinating priorities, dependencies, risks and stakeholder communications while balancing multiple activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Product Alignment with Business Goals: align features with objectives and market signals.
• Communicate Product Vision to Delivery Teams: clearly share goals and value.
• Create and Refine User Stories: write stories with acceptance criteria for development.
• Agile Events: participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Managing the Product Backlog: create, maintain and prioritise backlog based on value and risk.
• Voice of the Customer: gather feedback to understand needs and improve experience.
• Acceptance Criteria Definition & Management: review and accept work against criteria.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: gather requirements and align product goals with business aims.
• Monitor Product Performance and Iterate: use KPIs to adjust backlog and roadmap.
• Risk and Control: identify risks and coordinate with control functions.
