Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Project Leader to manage design and build water/wastewater projects. You will lead from outline to detailed design, coordinating civil, electrical, mechanical and process disciplines, BIM modelers and specialists.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring on-time delivery, quality and budget compliance while mentoring colleagues and supporting chartership development.

Qualifications

• Accredited Degree in Engineering - Civil, Mechanical, Process and Electrical.
• Incorporated Member of Engineering Institution.
• Outline and detailed design experience of water or wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of the Designer or Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of treatment or infrastructure projects from outline to detailed design, through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate the project team including civil, electrical, mechanical and process designers, BIM modelers and technical specialists to deliver on programme, budget and quality.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues where appropriate and promote a collaborative, 'one-team' approach.
• Build positive relationships with clients’ project, operational and technical assurance teams.
