Job summary

Browne Construction in the UK seeks a Design Manager to lead the complete design lifecycle for water and wastewater projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams from concept through detailed design and delivery.

You will apply Earned Value Analysis, maintain regulatory compliance including CDM, and ensure on‑time, on‑budget design performance while collaborating with project, engineering and construction colleagues. On-site three days weekly.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of design management experience in water/wastewater projects.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and EVA metrics.
• Chartered engineer or working toward chartership with strong CDM knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full design lifecycle from concept through to delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and monitor performance via KPIs and EVA.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and CDM adherence.
• Collaborate with project, engineering and construction teams for seamless design-to-delivery integration.
