Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is recruiting a Design Manager for Water and Wastewater Engineering. You will take ownership of design projects throughout their lifecycle, coordinating technical, commercial and operational teams to achieve safety, programme, cost and quality outcomes.

As the central point of contact for design delivery, you will unite civil, structural, process, mechanical, electrical and ICA disciplines while maintaining clear communication with clients and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in engineering, construction, or related field.
• Experience managing design projects from initiation to closeout.
• Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage design projects from initiation to closeout.
• Define scope, deliverables, milestones and programmes with teams.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs for integrated, buildable outputs.
• Monitor budgets, costs, forecasts and resource needs.
• Identify and manage delivery, risk, and commercial opportunities.
• Lead client meetings, design reviews and progress updates.
• Build strong relationships with clients and delivery stakeholders.
• Promote safe-by-design and CDM 2015 compliance.
• Provide clear direction and drive continuous design delivery improvement.
