Ipsum Utilities Limited is seeking a Project Manager to lead day-to-day delivery on water utility projects across the UK. You will coordinate operations, mobilise teams, and ensure safety and compliance while reporting progress to clients and management.

You will translate project plans into actionable daily work, drive performance through engineers, and proactively resolve risks impacting programme, cost, safety, or outcomes. Strong leadership and H&S knowledge are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Industry experience in water is ideal; gas acceptable; power/telecoms considered.
• Experience managing site teams and operatives.
• Recording tasks, progress, and site documentation.
• Leadership capability.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and permit systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Aufgaben

• Day-to-day site management across water and utilities schemes.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers (starting with 1–2 teams, progressing to 4–5).
• Maintain compliance with H&S, RAMS, permits, and company procedures.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to produce accurate material take-offs.
• Measure completed works against the Schedule of Rates for valuations and reporting.
• Provide accurate progress information to support applications for payment.
• Liaise with clients, inspectors, and internal management.
• Monitor programme progress and report accurately.
• Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping, and documentation.
