ExcelCS, part of Ipsum Group, within the water sector, is seeking a Delivery Manager to oversee safe and efficient day-to-day delivery across water utility projects. You will translate project plans into executable daily activities, lead commissioning engineers, and proactively resolve operational challenges to protect programme, cost, safety, and client outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, site management experience, and a solid understanding of health & safety and permits.

Qualifications

• Water industry experience preferred; gas acceptable, power/telecoms considered.
• Experience managing site teams and operatives.
• Strong health & safety and permit systems knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsabilités

• Day-to-day site management across water and utilities schemes.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, to specification.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers (starting with 1-2 teams, progressing to 4-5).
• Maintain compliance with H&S, RAMS, permits, and company procedures.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to produce accurate material take-offs.
• Measure completed works against the Schedule of Rates for valuations and reporting.
• Provide accurate progress information to support applications for payment.
• Liaise with clients, inspectors, and internal management.
• Monitor programme progress and report accurately.
• Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping, and documentation.
