Richardsonrecruit is seeking a Works Planner / Scheduler for our Hertfordshire-based office. You will plan and coordinate live works, booking plant and permits, and manage activities from excavation to reinstatement. Strong communication with clients and a solid command of English are essential.

The role requires proven planning experience, IT literacy (Outlook/Excel), and excellent organisational skills. You will liaise with supervisors, update daily records, and ensure safety and regulatory

Qualifikationen

• Previous planning experience required.
• IT literate with strong MS Office (Outlook, Excel).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Flexible, reliable and a strong team player.

Aufgaben

• Plan and coordinate live works for connections and mains activities.
• Book plant, machinery, materials, permits, and traffic management.
• Manage works from excavation through reinstatement.
• Provide updates to clients and respond to enquiries.
• Use work management systems to plan, record and communicate updates.
• Liaise with Supervisors to re-plan or reallocate resources.
• Review Daily Whereabouts and update as needed.
• Ensure job packs are distributed to teams where required.
• Comply with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a strong Health & Safety culture.
• Report near misses identified during the day.
• Liaise with clients to agree and reschedule work dates.
