You’ll coordinate 50-70 jobs daily, manage 10-25 active jobs and support 5-8 teams, reporting to the Planning Manager. Initially office-based with 1-2 days home working after training.

As a Planner, you will join a team of 6 and support the day-to-day planning requirements across utilities, civils and reinstatement. Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will work closely with the planning and operations teams to coordinate work, manage priorities and ensure deadlines are met.
This is a fast-paced and reactive role, with responsibility for planning around 50-70 jobs per day and typically managing 10-25 jobs at any one time. You will be allocated around 5-8 teams each day to plan work for the following day, covering the Thames Valley across a range of areas.
The role involves direct contact with field teams via telephone and WhatsApp, monitoring work progress, resolving scheduling issues and ensuring teams have the materials required for planned works. You will also monitor photo compliance and maintain accurate job information and records using Salesforce and SWIMS.
The role is initially office-based 5 days per week while you complete your training, which is expected to take around one month. Once you and your line manager are confident with the role and systems, 1-2 days working from home will be introduced.
